Takin' Care of Business- Bachman Turner Overdrive

this song is from A Knight's Tale. funkay!
anyhow, i just finished reading this book called Making Love, by this french author called Jean-Philippe Toussaint (it's translated). the whole story is such an irony; the more you're together with someone, the faster the process of breaking up. then one day, when you're sorta alone, without that significant other, you realise how much you don't actually need that person anymore.

But breaking up, I was beginning to realize, was more a state of being than an action, more a period of mourning than a death agony.

i couldn't agree more.
anyhow, met up with paul after dinner. sucha long time since i last saw him. even after 3 years of knowing paul, i cannot fathom how our friendship has lasted. haha. the best part- he hasn't change a single bit. :P still, i was rather snuffed by the fact that he had grown taller again. he asked me if i shrunk.
